Brief History of Douglas Douglas Scott McCarron-Home Page I was born on a foggy morning in the backseat of a car traveling about 110 miles per hour on an Indiana highway at about 2:33 in the morning. In 1954 there were fewer hospitals in the USA. Dad was military with no civilian insurance so he had to get my mother, writhing in the back seat of the car, to a military hospital. Speeding through the mist she began giving birth to me in the back seat of the car while grabbing his hair and pulling his head as he tried to safely halt the vehicle. Once stopped my father walked to the back door and opened it up. There I was, all slimy and wonderful, laying on my mothers chest as she smoked a cigarette. Dad leaned in and checked me out. He cut my umbilical cord, looked me over, then put his finger in my mouth to make sure it wasn’t obstructed. He later told me that my first act in life was to bite the hand that would feed me. The 1960’s were tense, even in our house. My mother and sister opposed the Vietnam war. Dad didn’t think it was great but he was military. Add Hippies, Civil Rights, Anti-War marches, Silent Majority, mass tension in the culture. I wondered if there actually was a country or simply a bunch of individuals living in their own world, assuming their thoughts were the thoughts of everyone and anyone with counter ones were traitors to the country ie. their personal beliefs. I personally felt overly criticized by my parents and was a dark moody child feeling unloved. Looking back from my older age I was doing most of the criticism internally. I have played the guitar for decades, fairly good at it. I love to explore new modes and combinations. Check out my videos on music and Fifty Steps to Guitar Greatness. I got resolved and let go of the energy of darkness. Now I want to share this change so others can open to their deeper self. You can heal and be free. Douglas Scott McCarron Games - I play a lot of games. I have created many that I am finalizing and will soon offer them. Most are war games. I am not a fan of war but I like to understand “how it happened.” If you like board games with the benefit of it being on your computer instead of taking up table space you will be excited to see these. With internet apps like Zoom or Facebook you can watch each others turn even if you are in different countries. You can email the game file back and forth to play each other. You have the entire earth to find friends to play with.
